Canopy Strategy began with a simple observation: many organisations struggle not because they lack intelligence or capability, but because they lack the space and support to think clearly about their challenges.
We established this practice in Singapore with a commitment to a different kind of consulting relationship. One where we listen more than we speak. Where we ask questions before offering answers. Where we're honest about what we see, even when it's uncomfortable.
The name "Canopy" reflects our philosophy. In a rainforest, the canopy layer provides shelter and creates the conditions for everything below to thrive. We see our role similarly—creating space for organisations to find their own clarity rather than imposing our views from above.
Since our founding, we've had the privilege of working with thoughtful leaders across Singapore who share our belief that sustainable success comes from careful reflection, not hasty action.

What Makes Us Different
We're a small practice by design. We don't aspire to grow into a large firm because we believe the quality of consulting work often suffers at scale. By staying small, we can be selective about the work we take on and give each client our full attention.
We're also not interested in being all things to all people. Our focus is deliberately narrow: helping organisations think more clearly about their strategic challenges. We don't offer implementation services, technology solutions, or operational improvements. When you need those things, we'll help you find the right partners.
Perhaps most importantly, we measure our success differently. We're not interested in how many engagements we complete or how much revenue we generate. We care about whether our clients feel they made better decisions because they worked with us. That's a harder thing to measure, but it's what actually matters.
